⇒  How many hours of continuing education (CE) do I have to take? New in 2023!

Licensees with active licenses need a minimum of 12 hours of approved continuing education hours each renewal period. This must include three hours on the mandatory topic, plus another 9 hours on  elective topics totaling 12 hours. Mandatory topic: Contract Law with Administrative Rules Changes.

Brokers & Brokers Associates must complete the 3 mandatory hours of Contract Law with Administrative Rules Changes plus 3 mandatory hours on Agency Law – a Brokers Perspective, and 6 hours on elective topics for a total of 12 hours.

Please see the ND Real Estate Commission website at www.realestatend.org/licensees/education-2 for information on continuing education if you plan to activate an inactive license or were first-time licensed within the past 12 months, and for a list of all approved continuing education courses.

Note: CE hours must be taken between November 16, 2022 and November 15, 2023 to renew your license as active for 2024.
